  • He later volunteered with the CFA, gaining firsthand experience responding to emergencies that impact homes, farms, and livelihoods.
  • During the Black Saturday bushfires, Rob worked was directly involved in recovery efforts. focusing on clearing fallen and burnt trees from roads to restore essential access for utilities and residents. It was practical, urgent work done in difficult conditions, alongside communities dealing with immense loss.
